		<description>How did they manage to keep Building &amp; Safety from condemning it? LOL
I swear, some of the folks formerly in that late department would have no qualms condemning all of GFV or the Fair Lane mansion if one of their developer buddies was itching to build some more McMansions. 
The house looks great, as do all their buildings. Great attention to period detail--warts &amp; all--nothing is over-restored like it might be on a private residence.</description>

		<description>The restoration is a beautiful success - aside from some of the copper gutters and downspouts not yet taking on a rich patina, one would be hard-pressed to know a fire ever ravaged this wonderful building on Christie Street.</description>
