O’Reilly to Join WWJ Newsradio Business Talk Friday

Dearborn Mayor John B. O’Reilly, Jr. will be one of six local mayors to take part in WWJ Newsradio 950’s Business Breakfast Friday at the Centerpoint Marriott.

O’Reilly and the panel of local mayors will face tough questions for WWJ City Beat Reporter Vickie Thomas and WWJ/Fox 2 Business Reporter Murray Feldman.

WWJ says the panel of mayors will discuss the types of tough budget choices they will have to make in these trying financial times while trying to keep their respective cities vibrant and attractive to businesses and citizens.

In addition to O’Reilly, the panelists include:

• Detroit Mayor Dave Bing

• Novi Mayor David Landry

• Southfield Mayor Brenda Lawrence

• Sterling Heights Mayor Richard Notte

• Warren Mayor Jim Fouts

It will be very interesting to see what O’Reilly has to offer.

Gee maybe he’ll brag about “the green specialist” norwood! Or maybe he’ll finally disclose what pizzino actually does do! Or how making no changes in a dept. with the exception of a name change will make a differance. Roll on dearborn!

$25.00 for this? Meeting of the minds no less..

Too many on the panel to really put any of them on the spot. We already know what O’Reilly will have to say. He will immensely enjoy an event like this; he will get to talk, talk, talk and not have to actually say anything of substance.

A chance for O’Reilly to do something constructive. Don’t just talk your normal jibberish. Remember you are representing Dearborn, so be a good reflection of what our town is for a change. Please no talk about the changes you have made in the building depatment, because we all know there really wasn’t anything more than a cover-up.

Why does this cost $25, yet to attend any major tv show taping, from Oprah to Conan is FREE?
